How to apply lipstick perfectly

First of all I want to thank those who liked my previous post about lips!I’m glad you liked it! 🙂

Last time I told you how to scrub your lips to make them soft and beautiful (check the last post about my diy lip scrub in the DIY section ) so today I want to tell you how to apply your lipstick the right way.

Lipstick is one of the oldest make up in the world, it is almost 5000 years old!we can say it is ancient!! Despite its age, it is a trendy make up product which makes fall in love lots of women all over the world.

You can find any kind and any colour of lipstick, you only have to choose one! (Let me know in the comment section if you want a post about lipstick types and their characteristics!) 🙂

As I said in the previous post, before you apply your lipstick you should be sure not to have dry lips.

First of all apply your favourite lip balm and let it set a few minutes (in the meantime you can do the rest of your make up). Next take a tissue and remove the lip balm so that your lipstick won’t smudge.

Now you have two options:

If you want a natural look and you are using nude or light tones, you can apply your lipstick directly on the lips skipping the other steps because imperfections are difficult to see.

If you want a bold look and you want to use bold colous (red, orange, …) or darker colours ( bordeaux, plum colour) I suggest to line your lips with a lip pencil whose colour is similar to your lipstick’s or you can use transparent one before putting your lipstick on, in this way it won’t smudge.
